Established in 1907, Tongji University is a public university located in Shanghai, China. The university is part of Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction.
The College of Civil Engineering is considered the best in the world according to several widely cited international rankings, including the Shanghai Ranking, US News Rankings, URAP ranking, and NTU Ranking.
As of 2022, Tongji’s College of Architecture and Urban Planning was ranked the best university in the world in “Architecture” by the University Ranking by Academic Performance and the top overall architecture program in China according to China’s University and College Admission System (CACUS).
